The patented hull-integrated propulsion system for ships featuring a multitude of pod units which use swarm intelligence to maneuver the vessel. No more tugboats are needed when entering the port. The ship is capable to maneuver on its own. The catamaran like underwater uplift bodies are used as tanks for storing H2 fueling fuelcells, which drive the electric pods. The teardrop-shaped pod itself forms a flow guide for the two propellers rotating in opposite directions, generating thrust in the direction of travel in two different ways. On the one hand, radial rotor blades generate thrust, according to the recoil principle and are connected to outer ring vanes. On the other hand, flow streaming the smaller and larger ring vane at the rear end of the pod, has a positive angle of attack, causing a lift force at both ring vanes, from which results thrust in the direction of travel. Positioned upstream, the smaller ring vane is a guide ring for the larger downstream sided ring vane.
