Challenge
So-called hybrid aircraft make use of both aerodynamic and aerostatic lift, combining the advantages of these two principles. In the future, air transport by drone will play a major role. 
However, the rotors of drones are dangerous for users. Could a hybrid aircraft eliminate this disadvantage?
Invention
Mantled propellers surrounded by a ring-shaped airfoil could solve this problem. The RES-Hybrid-Aircraft therefore has a ring-shaped airfoil that is filled with lifting gas to create aerodynamic uplift in the upper and lower segments of the ring.
