The invention relates to a symmetrical wing profile consisting of at least three parts with an adjustment device. The profile has a thickness and a chord extending between the wing's leading and trailing edges. In this embodiment, the front and rear wing segments are designed with multiple parts and a central joint chain. These kinematic hinge chains have an abutment formed by the middle wing segment and can be controlled by pushrods, allowing the wing profile to move from a symmetrical basic position to a lift or downforce position. The central wing segment forms a rigid housing that accommodates the electrical actuators. The central wing segment of the symmetrical wing profile is a rigid, hollow profile that resists thrust, bending, and torsion. It serves as a rigid abutment for the nose and trailing edge segments, which are connected to the body of the sports car. The adjustment device contains at least one electric motor in the middle wing segment. With the help of the motor(s), the front and rear wing segments can pivot in opposite directions. In a preferred embodiment, the adjustment device is equipped with a step-locking gear.

The invention relates to an asymmetrical wing profile with an adjustment device. The profile has a thickness and a chord that extends between the wing's leading and trailing edges. Designed in at least three parts, the profile has a central spar to which the front and rear wing segments are connected via two joints with axes of rotation. The hairline gaps between the three wing segments ensure laminar airflow around the profile in every wing position. The middle wing segment forms a rigid housing for the actuators. With the aid of electric motors, the front and rear wing segments can pivot in opposite directions, creating a variable suction side of the asymmetrical wing profile. This adjusts the profile chord's angle of attack when the front and rear wing segments are pivoted in or out. In a preferred embodiment, the adjustment device is equipped with a step-locking gear.
